We are proud to serve Prince William, Stafford, Fairfax, Loudoun & Fauquier counties

*We currently serve ages 2-21 years old.

STARTING TREATMENT

  1.  Set up an initial phone consultation
  2. Complete an intake form and submit the necessary documents
  3.  We will verify your benefits and eligibility for ABA services
  4. Meet with parents, guardians and/or caretakers to obtain full history and gain understanding of concerns
  5. Our trained and qualified providers utilize assessment tools such as the Verbal Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VBMAPP),  (ABLLS-R) Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills or the Vineland-3 Adaptive Behavior Scale to complete a comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
  6. Develop an individualized Treatment Plan that considers strengths, needs, abilities and preferences across domains for the individual and their family members
  7. A pre-authorization form along with a copy of the preliminary treatment plan is submitted to your insurance. (The number of hours requested for ABA therapy varies and is individualized based on your child’s specific needs).

Once we RECEIVE approval

  1. Your child is assigned a behavior technician (BT/RBT), who will begin 1:1 pairing with your child.
  2.  Once pairing is complete, the implementation of 1:1 Comprehensive ABA Treatment begins.
  3. Your child's progress is tracked daily. Ongoing assessments are used for new skill development.
  4. Family support, training, and guidance is provided throughout treatment.

*Please note, the pairing process is essential in developing a fun, working relationship with our clients. The purpose of pairing is to establish yourself as the ultimate reinforcer — the giver of all good things. To establish this rapport, there are two key rules to follow: provide reinforcement and limit demands. This process can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
